Warner Leisure Hotels, a UK-based operator of holiday resorts, is known for offering adults-only breaks focused on entertainment, dining, and wellness. With an outdated and inflexible platform, Warner struggled to adapt to shifting demographics and deliver personalised experiences.

Roadblocks to digital success
Warner Leisure Hotels faced several challenges that limited their ability to engage customers effectively and drive conversions:
- Outdated platform: Their legacy CMS lacked the flexibility needed for personalisation and couldn’t deliver tailored experiences or support robust search functionality.
- Changing demographics: Warner needed to attract a younger audience, but the existing system made it difficult to adapt to evolving customer needs.
- Data integration: Fragmented data systems created challenges for seamless integration and hindered the ability to deliver a cohesive experience across touchpoints.
The transformation journey
We worked closely with the client to create a flexible, scalable digital platform that would enable dynamic, hyper-personalised user experiences. Using Optimizely’s capabilities, we designed a solution that tailored content and offers based on user behaviour, while also implementing an advanced search function which allowed users to find the most relevant breaks based on personal preferences. Given high traffic volumes at peak times, we built a scalable framework that dynamically adjusted content to maintain performance.
